Located in Nevada, Iowa, our Medical Center delivers high quality healthcare in a community-oriented manner in more than two dozen services and specialties.
As a Director of Marketing, you will:
Develop, organize, and execute a comprehensive marketing and branding program for Story Medical designed to increase public awareness and utilization of the Medical Center and its services.
Assess market areas, develop marketing programs, prepare promotional materials, monitor results, develop, and maintain contact with the business community and area population to determine needs.
Maintain effective communication with nursing staff, medical staff, and all other hospital departments.
Foster and continually enhance all media relationships, developing press releases and pitches on a continual basis.
Actively participate in employee communication and workplace engagement programs.
Identify and maximize opportunities to utilize web-based technologies to improve business processes and support critical business strategies, provide information access, and promote the strategic uses of information technology and new media applications.
Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient, resident, personnel information, and all other hospital information.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Minimum of two years of related experience.
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
Master's degree in related field.
Effective writing, presentation, and verbal skills.
Ability to work independently under deadlines.
